GATEWAY TO THE VILLAGE ONCE AGAIN UNDER THREAT
One of the gateways to the village is once again under threat from property developers.
The planning application (number 66/2015/15334) to build on 50 houses on land off Sutton Lane was refused by Craven District Council earlier this year.
The applicants have appealed against this decision to the Secretary of State. The appeal will be determined by the Planning Inspectorate on the basis or Written Representations. Existing objections have been forwarded by Craven District Council, new ojections and additional comments can be sent to the Planning Inspectorate, see details in the forum post "Sutton Lane - 50 New Houses - Going to Appeal".
If you care about the future of the village, please object to this planning application (quoting reference 66/2015/15334) and do all that you can to make sure that everyone is aware of the situation.
The deadline for representations is 6th November 2015.
