A pair of black woollen gloves were left in the Post Office. Could the owner please come & collect them. :-)

08 January 2010 03:53		 Hi Vivien, I’m just curious and sorry to talk shop outside of shop. It's not easy for me to pop in and ask you this question personally cos I live 12,000 miles away!

The other day I stumbled across a Post Office account book that I last used in 1973. All the entries and tallies were hand written by your predecessors Mr & Mrs Siddle and the balance is a whopping 25p (the kids will get at least 12.5 pence each in my will)

I never closed the account, do you reckon it will still be active after 37 years of inactivity or will the Post Office have given the account the flick? Doesn't really matter either way, as i say I'm just curious.
